Our Howl-O-Ween Fest is coming up on Sat., Oct.24 and will be held outside of the adoption center! We can use extra pumpkins for our pumpkin decorating contest and bales of straw for decoration and for the pet costume contest! We are asking volunteers if they can pickup an extra pumpkin when you are out getting yours to donate. We need about 20 pumpkins. Mini Earth Nursery, which is off of 60 and Peterson Road has cheap pumpkins and bales of straw for $3.00 if you are looking for a good place to go. (their large mums are only $4.99 if you are looking for mums)
If you can pick up a pumpkin or bale, leave it on the grass in the North parking lot next to the recycled can area. Also, please feel free to invite friends and family to the Howl!! We will have the pet costume contest, photo booth, pumpkin decorating contest, games, raffles, free popcorn and hot drinks and more! We would love to see you there!
Save-A-Pet’s biggest fundraiser of the year is on Sat. Nov. 7 at the Concorde Banquet Hall in Kildeer. It will run from 5:30-11pm.
